Audit + Remediation Plans

You don’t really want JUST an accessibility audit report. What site owners need is to make sure that their website is usable for people with disabilities and moving toward compliance. That is, they want to get things tested and repaired.

That’s why we do things a little differently. We sell monthly packages that include both auditing and remediation fixes. These monthly packages help you spread out the cost and quickly make progress on making your site more usable for people with disabilities. You can have our team do remediations for you, or we can spend that time working alongside your existing team of developers, retesting as needed.

How to choose a plan

We know it can seem confusing to pick one of these plans. If you aren’t sure what plan is right for you, simply signup for the Bronze plan and as a part of our onboarding we will gather information about your site and your needs (for instance, how quickly you need things fixed), and make recommendations about upgrading if needed.

Details & Information

  • Our audits include both automated and manual testing by accessibility experts, and focused testing with disabled users when needed.
  • As issues are identified, they will be documented in the project management dashboard, which will allow you to follow the progress of remediation.
  • Your monthly written report will document any new issues discovered and progress on remediating identified issues. These reports showing progress on improving accessibility may be a valuable resource if you are sued.
  • These plans usually are focused on one website, although subdomains of the main site may be included.
  • Monthly strategy meetings with our team will help set priorities about what to fix first, decision-making about how to address some issues, and strategy for creating fewer accessibility issues going forward.
  • There is no guarantee that all accessibility issues can be addressed in a certain time window. We won’t know how long it will take to fix things until we are testing your site and “get under the hood”. Once we do have a clearer picture of your site, we are glad to give you a better idea of what it will take to move you toward WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
  • For comparison, a stand-alone audit sampling 10 URLs with no remediation might involve 20-50 hours depending on the complexity of the features on the URLs and the number of issues found.
